Coonawarra Cellar Dwellers | July 1-31, 2020

During the month of July, Coonawarra wineries delve into the depths of their cellars to reveal age-old treasures, offering visitors a rare opportunity to taste and buy “back vintage”, aged wine.

Experience for yourself the superior ageing ability of Coonawarra wines as we dust off vintages that are otherwise not available for day to day tasting.

Frank's Favourites- Each week in July Frank DiGiorgio will head deep into the cellar to choose an aged wine. Call in for a taste or enjoy a glass with a 'Pick Your Own Produce Platter' that you can customise from our selection of local produce.

Aged Wine and Vintage Pies- Enjoy a delicious locally handmade pie with homemade chutney whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the cosy surrounds of our winery or around the fire pit outside. Coonawarra After Dark | 2021

Join us to kick off the Coonawarra After Dark celebrations with the annual Vintage Stomp. Cheer on your team or just enjoy the atmosphere.

Carry on your night after DiGiorgio at Zema Estate Wines with live music and Mrs Zema,s pizza, then rock on at Brand's Laira Coonawarra with 'Wined it Up'.

Bus package available from Mt Gambier, $45 includes transport, keepsake glass and 1 fill of wine at DiGiorgio, Zema and Brand's, plus transport between wineries.

Shuttle bus to and from Penola also available on the night

Make a weekend of it and visit Raidis Estate on Saturday night for Chris's famous charcoal grill.

Take some time out during your busy art filled day to relax and recharge with Rita DiGiorgio's secret family recipe lamb pizziaola (slow cooked Italian lamb served with crusty bread and green salad) and a glass of DiGiorgio Family wine. We will also have wire artworks by a local artist.
