The 2014 vintage will be described by most as one of the longest on record. However it provided, a perfect extended dry and mild ripening season for flavour, colour and tannin development which will deliver another classic Coonawarra vintage. There is typical Coonawarra elegance and balance. The softening effect of traditional open top fermentation, and the maturity of the vineyards have given this wine great mouth feel. It is ready to consume now, though it’s Coonawarra pedigree suggests that it will drink well, if cellared in ideal conditions, for at least 8-10 years.
